Update: Due to the recommendation to avoid unnecessary travel to the City of Darebin, the planned training at DISC for June 22th have been cancelled. We hope that training at DISC will return soon, pending health recommendations.

Hi Everyone,

As most of you will probably be aware Monday night Disc training sessions will be recommencing on Monday the 22nd of June. There will be some social distancing measures implemented based on Cycling Victoria and Government guidelines.

The first of which is that both sessions will be strictly pre-booked using tickets purchased on TeamApp, there will not be payment on the day (In unforeseen circumstance where this isn’t possible contact me prior to the session). So have a look at the events on TeamApp which will be updated soon and ready over the weekend. The purchase of tickets will close at 2pm on the day of each session so get in early to ensure your spot. This is to keep a record of the participants in each sessions and to ensure the venue is appropriately setup to cater for them.

There will still be the 2 sessions running on the night the difference being that they will be separated with the Novice & Foundation Session starting at 6pm and finishing at 7 pm and the General session commencing at 7.10 pm we ask that people wait in their cars until just prior to their respective start time. Entry will be via the front entrance and down the tunnel. Please avoid using the lift. The change rooms will be closed (toilets will be accessible) so please come prepared to start training at the allocated time.
We have a new coach Marty Elsum starting with us on Monday who will work alongside Jemma Eastwood to make sure everyone gets the best out of their session. Marty Is an experienced level 2 cycling coach who has raced at a national level and worked with riders at all levels of the sport over a number of years.

There will also be changes to the seating arrangements for both participants and spectators alike. Information on this and other changes will be provided on the night.
I look forward to seeing everyone again, it has been a long time.
