Traffic Controllers and Traffic Marshalls needed for Eildon!!!

20 Jun 2022 by Kylie Woods

Dear Blackburn Cycling Club family,
This is a special call to our Blackburn members.
Coming up on the weekend of the 8th - 10th July, we are hosting our biggest race of the year!

We really want to make this a fantastic and safe event for all of the kids involved. So, I am sending out a call for help to all of our Blackburn members - We really need your help and support on for this weekend.

If you have a current Traffic Controllers ticket and you are available to help out on this Eildon weekend, we would love to hear from you. If your ticket has expired, and you are keen to renew, please also let us know. If you don't have a traffic control ticket, but would love to help out, could please email Rick ASAP with your expression of interest to help out, his email is ryan5570@bigpond.com

Traffic control courses and refreshers are being held every Thursday and Saturday in Rowville.

We also need Traffic Marshalls, which require no training or tickets, just common sense, and the ability to wave a flag, and warn drivers that kids are racing! Again, if you can help out please email Rick at ryan5570@bigpond.com

We will be putting out another volunteers list soon for other important jobs on this weekend. If everyone can do at least one job, to assist the club, it would be greatly appreciated.

Again, this is a huge weekend for Blackburn Cycling Club, so the more volunteers we get, the less people have to do 2-3 jobs.

If you could please click on the Volunteer signup sheet below, and pop your name down for one our traffic control or traffic marshall jobs here at volunteersignup.org/CTRBX

If you have never volunteered before, now is your chance to support your club, that provides your kids with great racing all year round!

We look forward to seeing everyone at Blackburn's Bayside Skoda Eildon Junior Tour.

Kindest Regards
Barry Woods
