Time zone: Melbourne
Reminder: 6 hours before
Ends: 10:00pm (duration is about 3 hours)

Note: the session time has changed to a 7pm start due to the AIS training at DISC. All riders will do a rollers warmup ready to start on track at 7.30.

The Monday DISC Intermediate and Advanced session is run by coach Marty Elsum and is open to all experienced riders that hold a current Auscycle license. We suggest that riders new to track cycling attend novice sessions at Blackburn or another club velodrome first.

All participants must purchase tickets via TeamApp to attend DISC sessions there will not be any payment on the day (In unforeseen circumstance where this isn’t possible contact me prior to the session). Ticketing will be open until 6pm on the day of each session and may be limited in number so get in early to ensure your spot. This is to keep a record of the participants in each session and to ensure the venue is appropriately setup to cater for them. Please avoid using the lift. The change rooms will be closed (toilets will be accessible) so please come prepared to start training at the allocated time.

7pm – 10.00pm: Intermediate and Advanced Riders (Cost $20 per rider)
All riders that have attended the General session previously are welcome to attend. Riders need to enter via the front entrance and down the tunnel at 7pm. Please do not enter before 7pm as social distancing guidelines need to be maintained.
You need to have your warmup gear or rollout for under 15’s and don’t forget to bring your track bags and TT bars.
Note: CV track bikes will NOT be available for hire until further notice.

COVID Plan Considerations:
• To maximise training opportunity only riders, coaches and volunteers should attend the DISC velodrome.
• No more than one parent/carer to attend with children
• Please avoid using the lift.
• The change rooms will be closed (toilets will be accessible) so please come prepared to start training at the allocated time.
• Register-ride-return home
• Avoid gatherings at registration, gates, checkpoints
• Ensure masks are worn at all times when not competing in high exertion event
• Maintain >1.5m physical distancing
• Bring your own bottle and don’t share equipment
• Follow the directions of the coaches and club officials
