DISC Novice & Foundation session
The Monday DISC Novice & Foundation session is run by coaches Marty Elsum, Harry Morgan, Conor Rowley and Andrew Radford. This session is to develop the skills, confidence and fitness to ride at an indoor velodrome and progress to the Intermediate and Advanced session that follows.

6.00 – 7.15pm: Novice & Foundation Riders. (Cost $12 per rider)
• Riders need to enter at 5.50pm to be setup and ready for commencement at 6pm.
• Time permitting the session will include a skills session held in the centre of the track so bring along a pair of flat shoes.
• Due to the road works parking will be in the carpark accessed from Arthur Street.
• Entry will be via the side entrance and down the tunnel.

New novice riders and foundation riders that wish to attend the 6pm session must contact JDP coach Andrew Johnstone by emailing (training@bbn.org.au) to discuss the process. We suggest that riders new to track cycling attend novice sessions at Blackburn or another club velodrome first.

All participants must purchase a ticket on TeamApp to attend DISC sessions there will not be any payment on the day (In unforeseen circumstance where this isn’t possible contact me prior to the session). Ticketing will be open until the end of each session and numbers may be so get in early to ensure your spot. Please make sure that the riders name, along with others that are attending with them are listed in the purchase. This is to keep a record of the participants in line with Covid requirements for each session and to ensure the venue is appropriately setup to cater for them.
Note: CV track bikes will NOT be available for hire until further notice.

COVID Plan Considerations:
• To maximise training opportunity only riders, coaches and volunteers should attend the Cycling Victoria velodrome and clubhouse.
