Ladies Night @ DISC – Come Try & Experienced Riders

We are back – Fridays @ DISC

Ladie’s night at DISC has moved to a new night (and new time) for Winter after our successful Tuesday summer program has wound up. Note this session will NOT run every 3rd Friday of the month

Our Women’s only night is an initiative to support women to get into the sport of Track riding with Female coaching. If you have ever thought about trying track, come along and join in the fun with our experienced coach and riders. All Women are welcome – from any club, including those who want to try it out for the first time (a free trial membership will be required – we can take you through this)

This session will flexible depending on the attendance but will cater for all levels – and is aiming to provide a great, safe space for Women to train and learn the Track trade craft from other Women.

If you don’t have a track bike – we will have some on hand to ride on the night – more announcements on this soon.

6.00 – 8.00pm: All Riders. (Cost $15 per rider)
• Riders need to enter at 5.50pm to be setup and ready for commencement at 6pm.
• Remember to bring some cycling shoes, if you don’t have them, please let us know in advance.

All participants must purchase a ticket on TeamApp to attend DISC sessions there will not be any payment on the day (In unforeseen circumstance where this isn’t possible contact me prior to the session). Ticketing will be open until the end of each session and numbers may be restricted so get in early to ensure your spot. Please make sure that the riders name, along with others that are attending with them are listed in the purchase. This is to keep a record of the participants in line with Covid requirements for each session and to ensure the venue is appropriately setup to cater for them.

COVID Plan Considerations:
• To maximise training opportunity only riders, coaches and volunteers should attend the Cycling Victoria velodrome and clubhouse.
• Avoid gatherings at registration, gates, checkpoints
• Maintain >1.5m physical distancing
• Bring your own bottle and don’t share equipment
• Follow the directions of the coaches and club officials

COVID-19 Declaration
