The Blackburn Cycling Club is pleased to present The Blackburn Junior Development Series – proudly sponsored by Cyclelink, Bayswater in conjunction with Siemens Ltd. Australia.

This skills training & racing session is provided primarily for riders new to road racing. It is run during the Winter road racing season from 2pm to 4pm on selected Saturdays at the Siemens Factory, 885 Mountain Hwy, Bayswater.

The club thanks Siemens for supporting this program and we look forward to working with them to contribute to a sustainable future together.

The objectives of each session are:
To help riders new to road racing become competent and confident enough to join into other training sessions and compete on race days in a safe manner
To provide a training session for riders to focus on skills rather than strength and speed;
To provide a non-intimidating training and skills session that new riders feel comfortable in attending – and enjoy enough to come back
To provide a forum where riders can ask questions on technique, racing tactics or cycling in general.

For insurance reasons, it is required that all participants have an appropriate Cycling Australia licence. This is available via the club website (see the Membership details for licence information).
