In honour of having a day off, we are having a BBN Group Ride from Ringwood Clock Tower for a loop of the Dandenong’s and back for a quick coffee before getting on with the rest of the holiday.

Route will be along Wantirna Rd, Left onto Mountain Hwy, through Bayswater and the Basin, up the 1 in 20 to Sassafras, left onto the tourist Rd, through Olinda and up the Sky High, get a happy snap or two, then drop down to Montrose, then left back along Canterbury Rd through Bayswater north then right onto Oban Rd, and back into Ringwood for a coffee at the village square cafés.

Route is approx 45 or 50km, and should take us approximately 2.5hrs

We will stay together (no drop) except on climbs where you can go hard and we will regroup at the top before continuing.

We will be conservative on the descents, so we all come back in one piece.

Please bring a spare tube and pump, mobile phone and drink bottles, front and rear flashing lights and jacket if cold or wet
