This session will be start of the Junior Development (Road) Program for Winter 2019. This session will be conducted at the Club velodrome (track) and gives us the opportunity to have different levels of training and skills of all age groups. We will split into several groups with different ability/speed levels.

These sessions will focus on things like bunch riding skills and working together for the less experienced riders and preparation for the upcoming Junior Tours for those at or approaching that level. Following on from this date will be other locations such as Jells Park and Casey Fields. Remember all of the junior tours have hills, and there are plenty of options around Jells Park both on bike paths and on road for the older riders, so everyone will be able to get something out of these sessions.

Please Pre-Register on TeamApp to allow us to organise the resources required.
Parents are encouraged to bring their bikes so they can participate and marshal the various groups where necessary.

Registration at 10am ready to roll at 10.30am. Meet at the clubrooms at the East Burwood Reserve Velodrome and we will check through all bike equipment in preparation for the following session set for the coming weeks. Bring your own road or hybrid bike. (Not track bike)

Current CA Members: Fees $10 per rider, $20 Family Cap.

Riders must have a Ride Licence as a minimum requirement but a Race License is preferred (details available on www.bbn.org.au or TeamApp).

New riders, the Let’s Race Program is delivered on behalf of Cycling Australia & Cycling Victoria, over six weeks by accredited/qualified coaches. Along the way, your mentors and coaches will step you through the basic skills, tactics and racing events, empowering you with the confidence and knowledge you need to know about racing.
